My daughter and her husband captured this bee asleep on the job in their garden in the UK. Their crocuses are already blooming and the frogs in the pond are spawning. They noticed the bee and realized that it had fallen asleep after the weather turned a bit chilly in the afternoon. Wonder if bees get docked pay for sleeping on the job?

Great shot. I can't imagine a more luxurious bed than that one made by nature.
I am sooo jealous of the greenery...I can't wait for spring ! I mean, I like all the seasons but it sure seems winter is extra long!

The only bees I have seen here recently are wasps that are in my basement trying to get in from the cold!
Gerry-they pay a lot of attention to what goes on in their garden and ponds. I love when we see the first crocus poke up as it does mean Spring is on its way.

Cindy - nice image, really clear. We are really looking forward to spring here and today it is warming up. Still a lot of snow on the ground so no flowers breaking through yet.
