8 Ways to Use PrimeAccess (Colorado's Newest MLS System)

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Metrolist

Over the past few years we've been working hard to make PrimeAccess® a top-notch MLS system. Yet many real estate professionals have yet to experience the full capacity of PrimeAccess because they felt rushed to get "in-and-out" as quickly as possible.

Now that you are no longer bound by timeshare, you may need some new ideas about how you can use the MLS. Here are eight fun ways to use PrimeAccess.

1. Look in your neighbor's backyard - Ever wondered what your neighbor has on the other side of the fence? Use PrimeAccess Maps to take a peek. While you're at it, take a look at that newly listed house around the corner. So that's where those tennis balls keep coming from.

2. Look-up a long lost colleague - Remember that one broker that you worked with at that one company? Maybe you should find out how she is doing these days? Use the Broker Search tool in PrimeAccess to find contact information and reconnect with colleagues.

3. Create an Instanet transaction - You've always been curious about how that Instanet stuff works. Maybe now is the time to try it out. Take a look at these Instanet resources and create an Instanet Transaction...just for the fun of it.

4. Finally upload your broker photo - You've got your picture everywhere - on your business card, your stationary, even on your Facebook page. Now it's time to add it to your listings. Upload you're photo under Account>Profile in PrimeAccess so it appears on your listings in REcolorado.com. Speaking of Facebook, follow Metrolist on our Facebook page.

5. Find a new address for an old friend - Remember that holiday card returned from the post office because it had a bad address? You can use PrimeAccess Public Records to find the new address for homeowner friends who have may moved to a new home in the Denver area.

6. Create a CMA for a withdrawn or expired listing - Remember that client who took their home off the market because it "wasn't the time to sell?" Create a Comparative Market Analysis using PrimeAccess CMA and present it to them. It may be just the convincing they need to relist their home.

7. Schedule a showing using ShowingAssist - You've seen that ShowingAssist icon in your Search Results, and you know it's used to schedule showings, so use it. Schedule a showing to look at some comps for the CMA you just created.

8. Create inspiring listings - Do your listings lack that "zing" that creates bidding wars? Maybe it's time to look at what other listings have that yours do not. Browse listings in PrimeAccess and take notes on the descriptions that paint a picture in your head. Use similar language to better describe the properties you list.

Now you have the ability to explore PrimeAccess and discover how it works the way you do to help you run your business more efficiently. Use PrimeAccess today and discover how fun your work can be.

I guess this went way over my head. I've never heard of Prime Access, but now I'm curious and will have to check it out.

Hi Melissa,

Teah, the timeshare thing will take awhile to wear off.  Many folks are still hooked to Virtual office for access.  I haven't explored it as much for that reason, thanks for the tips.
