Day light savings time is this weekend just a friendly reminder from my local fire Department in Arvada CO

REMINDER: Sunday is Daylight Savings. As you change your clocks forward, this is a good time to change your smoke alarm batteries. Even "hard-wired" alarms have batteries to protect you when the power goes out. The batteries that you remove are probably still good to be used in other equipment, but you want fresh ones in your alarms.
