Pawnee's Cafe & Fine Wines last wine tasting at 165 Vilano Road in the Vilano Beach Town Center was held March 12, 2010. The economy got the best of this fun, local establishment in the Vilano Beach Town Center, but not the best of Pawnee. We had fun and it was a very bittersweet evening. She will be missed. She will continue to sell wine, so please stay in touch with her. Her last day in the store, was today, March 18, 2010.
Pawnee's last e-mail to her distribution list said:
"CATERING AND WINE DELIVERY CONTINUE. I'm teaming up with another experienced caterer and restaurant after we close, so contact me by email to custom design a fabulous menu to fit your small or large event: 1pawnee@bellsouth.net. Life is good, share it with a friend."
A new breakfast and lunch restaurant will be opening with heavy involvement with one of the owners of the building. More to come.
Vilano Beach is the closest beach to historic St. Augustine, Florida.
