Monday March 29th: Free beginning gardening classes at the USU Extension Office 585 North Main, Cedar City.  This will be from 6 to 7:30pm space is limited so call Candace (435) 586-8132 to reserve your seat. Art Exhibit South Hall Gallery Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  Admission is free.  SUU Campus 351 West University Avenue.  This exhibit ends April 5th.

 

Thursday April 1st  Senior Portfolio Art Exhibit, Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery. Admission is free Continues Tuesdays through Saturdays until May 1st.  

Southern Paiute Portrait Exhibit 9 am to 5 pm.  Frontier Homestead State Park exhibit continues until May 8th.  For more information call (435) 586-9290 

Outdoor Education Series SUU Outdoor Center 11:30 to 12:30.  Subject is Plein Air Painting.  Speakers will be Rob Wilson, President of the Plein Air Society and Arlene Braithewaite SUU Associate Professor of Art.  Bring a brown bag lunch and learn how to get past the dirt, bugs, and storms to create art.

 

Saturday April 3rd.  Easter Bonfire and S’mores at the Brian Head Fire Station,  Hot Chocolate and s’mores.  For more information call (888) 677-2810 

Easter Egg Hunt, Main Street Park, Cedar City, The Easter Bunny arrives at 9:30 am, so arrive early and stay to the end as prizes will be given out after the eggs are collected.  Call Kyle for more information (954) 303-0368. 

Enoch Easter Egg Hunt.  Enoch City Offices, beginning time 9 am.  City Offices are at 900 E Midvalley Road.  Ages 12 and under, sponsored by the Enoch City Police Department.  For more information (435) 586-1119

Michael, This is true we do have some cool rock formations out here, I have seen some photos of some really beautiful areas in the East as well.

Jim, North about 10 Miles as the crow flies so to speak.  Cedar Breaks is a National Monument that is separate from Zions.
