Tickets are nearly sold out for Plant It Pink, the fashion show and high tea to be held at Crofton Country Club on Sunday, May 2.
The event, presented by Crofton Village Garden Club, will benefit Susan G Komen for the Cure and Crofton beautification projects such as the garden planted two years ago on Crofton Parkway near the entrance to the community and the recently-approved planting next fall of daffodil bulbs at the Crofton Library.
You'll be treated to fashions from Nordstrom, Coldwater Creek, Ahni, the club's Golf Shop, Lands End and Kohl's, modeled by club members and a few local celebrities. Other club members are working hard to prepare for the event, as well, including co-chairs Patricia Stevenson and Marcia Richard, Bernie Robertson (Decorations), and Margaret Woda (Programs and Favors). Suzann Barthold will play the piano for the fashion show and other members will assist the models, sell tickets for the Tombola (raffle), and greet you.
Refreshments will include assorted finger sandwiches, scones, assorted cookies and petite fours, as well as ccoffee and tea.
Contact me or call (410) 721-6513 to get your ticket(s) at $32.
