As I reported...Yesterday was our anniversary. We had a lot of well wishes from friends, relatives and many from here in the Rain.
Well, this morning during church, the Pastor, who was a sub and who I don't know well, was asking me how things were. I said that our anniversary was yesterday. "You know Pastor, My wife is an ANGEL."
He replied..."Lucky you, mine is still alive!"
"WOW, I said, look at the time, I better find myself a place to sit!"
It's wonderful that you have kind words to say about your wife to someone you don't even know. That shows how much you love and respect her.

Awkward... I guess that's quick wit on his part, but not very flattering to their marriage... Congratulations on your anniversary, Bill! It sounds like things are very happy!

This Pastor has a great sense of humor. His wife was standing next to him. She promised to get him back 10 fold. I bet she will!
It sounds as though the sub Pastor had a real quick wit. I hope he had a good sermon to go with it.
