I GOT to pay Taxes! How about you?

HEY! I GOT to PAY taxes again this year.

Yes, I GOT to pay taxes since that means I MUST have made money.

The Obama's earned $5.5 million and paid $1.25 million in taxes.

Funny I thought the President only got paid $400,000 a year. How'd he have time to make an additional $4.5 million dollars?

If the Obama's were in the 32% tax bracket they would have paid $1.7 million....

What I learned how much I will need to pay when I make $5.5 million in GCI.

April 9th - was TAX FREEDOM DAY. Do you know what that is? Tax Freedom day -- all money you made up to this date goes to the government. After that the money is your's to keep.

Parting thought.....

When you put the words "The" and "IRS" together, it spells "THEIRS."

I always get a kick out of people who get excited to receive a refund. I try and explain they get a refund because they OVERPAID all year but you can't wipe the smile off so I let them enjoy. I would much rather hold on to my money until April 15th and paying in means I made money. Love the April 9th reference.

Obama had BOOK sales, the Nobel that he gave away and other income. It is the Bidens who are not making any dough although I don't know who would read a book about him if he could write one. She should make more than 100,000k as she is a phd....VPs are cheap on the charity although the Gores only gave about $300 the last year he was VP

I always say tha having to pay means we made money, and the good news is we have the money to pay, so I don't worry about it.

Randy - yes, and I'm not paying quarterly either. Rather take the $300 hit.

Wallace - I don't think we need to worry about the Bidens.

Tom - maybe next year we can pay as much as the Obama's

Ernie - I agree-- next year - we can all pay that much

Home Realty Group - I love the being a bought and paid for politician

Christina - the link in the post shows how much they paid, it's public record since WE the tax payers PAY them

Leslie - I keep saying, next year, I'm putting 25% away so I have money to pay.
