If you were like my wife and I living in the northeast you may think you would have to be pretty well off to move somewhere and build a brand new home. Before my wife and I moved to the Lake Norman area five years ago I was talking to a friend who had said they knew someone who was being transfered to North Carolina for business reasons and was building a new home down here. My first thought was that this person must be pretty wealthy to be able to build a brand new home. Up north were I grew up, new homes are very rare because there is not much land left to build on and when they do build the homes are very pricey. After moving here we quickly realized that new homes were being built everywhere and anywhere. You could move into a brand new home for as little as $150,000. Many national builders have set up shop in the area and are competing for your business. This makes for some great deals.
Many builders offer different size homes, style homes, community amenities and monthly specials. If you are planning to move to the Lake Norman area and would like to visit new home communities or previously owned homes I would be glad to show you all the homes that fit your criteria.
NOTE: If you have never worked with a REALTOR before you should know that there are no fee's on the buyer side of the deal. The buyer agent's commission is paid by the seller side of the deal. The buyer agent is hired by you to seek out a property that best fits your criteria, represent you in the transaction and act in your best interest throughout the transaction.
