JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA IS IN THE TOP 40!

Jacksonville Florida is in the top 40 of Metropolitan Statistical Areas of the United States of America, per the census data.

Our population is 1,328,144, up from 1,122,750 in 2000. That is an 18% gain in population and that is a good thing because we have built a lot of houses since 2000. Building has slowed way down, and our housing inventory is dropping as well. Houses for sale are down 7% from the same datein 2009.

Fabulous photos. I doubt that many our way will be headed your way. Homes here are hard to sell, but some retirees have owned their homes for years and can sell. They just won't sell for today's market value.
