Ashland's Beautification Committee, a non-profit organization, is in need of your help.
Over the years a wonderful group of seniors, who also volunteer their time at other non-profit organizations such as the Ashland Legion, have been kind enough to donate their time planting flowers throughout the town of Ashland, New Hampshire, to make it look even more and inviting each spring, summer and fall. However, in order to do this they dig deep into their own pockets each season to pay for these beautiful flowers and plants that everyone enjoy seeing while they frequents all of the local businesses in the quaint Village of Ashland or while they pass through the what is also knows as the "gateway to the Squam Lakes." As much as the dedicated volunteers have enjoyed planning the flowers, it's getting more and more financially difficult for them to keep up with all of the flower bins in front of the business on Main Street as well as planting flowers in the intersections through the center of town. So at this time we would like to ask for your help. If you or anyone you know is in a position to donate flowers, plants of funds to purchase these items please let us know.
