Groovy Weekend Events!

There are several groovy things to do in the area this weekend.  Check out the Downtown Edmond Arts Festival http://www.visitedmondok.com/ or drive down to Norman for their Mayfair Arts Festival http://www.visitnorman.com/vn-all-events.php.  We'll be there!  We love the arts festivals and live music!

Saturday is Free Comic Book Day, so stop by your favorite comic book store and get your free comic books!  Our favorite comic book store is All-Star Comics 6900 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73116-3252(405) 842-7800?; stop by any time and tell Wyll and Rhonwen we said "Hi"! 

Our neighborhood cookout is Saturday at 6 pm in Kimberly Crossing; that will be lots of fun for us Kimberly Crossing residents!  See you all there!

On Saturday and Sunday, at the Great Salt Plains State Park, the Sierra Club is having a hiking and car camping event for families with younger children.  Explore the migratory bird paradise and dig for selenite salt crystals. Sunday is World Laughter Day!  On Saturday they are having a pre-party 1:30 - 3:30 pm, free, at Roxie's Funky Art Boutique at the Bizarre Bazaar, 128 W. Gray, Norman, 405-596-3367; Casita905@hotmail.com; On Sunday 3-5 pm, it's a 2-hour laughterganza!  Laugh and play games, Laughter Yoga, Zubble Blowing (colored bubbles), and more.  Bring water and smiles.  It's all free and fun at the Stars & Stripes park at Lake Hefner, N.
