Over the past 2 years or so I am honored to say I've closed about 500 transactions. The majority of those being REO. As an REO agent we all know the amount of bills we have to process (I'm not complaining..just saying).
I remember 1 day seeing my postal worker and him saying, "Thank you." I was like, "Umm, okay, you're welcome...for what?"
He said for all the mail you have delivered. He went on to say how at that time the USPS was considering cutting back workers, eliminating weekend delivery, etc. And how with all the mail I was getting how appreciative he was of me getting all the mail I received. It wouldn't be uncommon for me to go to the mailbox and have 50 bills every 2 weeks. Maybe not a huge amount, but I guess it adds up.
In fact, any of the postal workers that deliver our mail frequently joke about how much mail I receive.
So, Mr. PostMaster General, if you are reading this I am requesting a discount on stamps. I think I deserve it, don't you?
