There are really many, many great investment opportunities here in Redding and environs. People from the Bay Area when they retire often want to find someplace to call their own and a place where they can garden and/or enjoy water sports up at Shasta Lake or Whiskeytown Lake in the summer, enjoy the fall season with the beautifully colored trees, with a short drive to winter sports without having to shovel it. And last but not least be surprised by the beautiful fields covered in California Poppies and other wildflowers in the spring time.
There have been also quite a few foreclosures driving down the prices to bottom out and now this is facilitating the ability of the Franciscans and other Bay Area people lookng to retire in the next few years to buy a decent house in a beautiful part of the U.S. while interest rates and prices are still low.
