I'm suffering from "Staging Hangover"!!!
After back-to-back Stagings this week; I'm wiped out, but exhilarated!
There is nothing like the high that comes from seeing the home owner' and realtor's faces when they walk into a property after it's been Staged. Even the contractor was in awe and couldn't stop commenting on the difference Staging made to his project.
But, like I said, don't call me today; tomorrow is okay, though!!
I LOVE Staging; but hate the "selling", so Realtors, for your own sake, please help me out and try to convince your clients about the value of Staging!! It may even get you a listing.
Yesterday's (very savvy and very successful) Realtor convinced her client to Stage her property and RAISE the price by $50,000! And guess what? I'm sure the property will sell this weekend, after languishing on the market (un-Staged and with a different listing agent) for over six months. The client's investment of $9,000 will net her an extra $41,000 or so, plus a quick sale!
Also, this Realtor is practically turning listings away... well, that's a bit of an exaggeration; but "Staging Hangover" has me at a loss for words...
