As a re-designer, my focus is using existing furniture and accessories the home owner already has to transform any room. Home Staging is the process of getting a house ready for the real estate market. It is the "art of merchandising" a house to sell quickly and for top dollar, from de-cluttering to general repairs as will as addressing curb appeal. When preparing a property for sale, the first goal is to depersonalize the space by creating a welcoming feeling that will give any prospective buyer the ability to mentally move in. I have been helping clients for years. At one time I was involved with direct marketing that allowed me to display my merchandising skills with various and limited accessories. I love to show the power of positive presentation. Just because something is displayed does not mean that is has a powerful impact. Remember prospective buyers shop with logic but purchase on emotion, and how a property is presented should be powerful enough to provide an emotional connection. The element of surprise is important as well as keeping things in balance and color coordinated. The combination of my passion for for home design and real estate is an asset to all prospective clients and Realtors. Having the ability to provide an objective view for clients is to their benefit. That old saying, "you get what you pay for" is also true in the profession of Home Staging. If you want quality staging then the only option is a professional, not someone that just gives you tips and advice, but a professional stager that has various resouces to give the project all the attention necessary to make it successful. Professional Home Stagers are practiced in the art of property presentation. They work with the "flow" of a home, eliminate clutter, edit and arrange furniture, and even assist in enhancing curb-appeal. Home Staging is not a 30minute show that most have seen on HGTV.
