How Real Estate will Embrace helloWorld and VMDirect and So Should You...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Florida Team Realty

Update: For those that have a webcam, let me know if you want to start sending professional video emails (you control the advertising around the banners).  The first 20 will get a free account.  I can possibly give it to you free as long as you want.  This account also includes all the other products mentioned above.  Here's a sample of a video email I sent to Jeff Turner on his blog post.

It's all about Videos.

Video Live Broadcasting. Video Email. Video Instant Messenging. Video Blogging. Video Podcasting.

As a Broker/Owner of two companies, I have had my fair share of spending money for advertising through radio, newspaper, magazine and internet ads (Google Adwords). So how did I get involved with the HelloWorld and VMDirect products? I was prospected in one of my Chamber of Commerce meetings. A top producer Steven Klein had asked me if I was willing to be open-minded of making an additional income stream without jeopardizing my current real estate business. I told him that I was already busy with my own two real estate brokerages and didn't need to pile on more work. Once I started sending out a video email, my response rate from my prospects and leads shot through the roof. I was hooked. Starting at $9.95/month, you can increase your business with the suite of products (video email, live broadcast, video instant messenging, video blogging and video podcasting). What's even better, you can have a 2nd income stream simply by using these products.

So why is this exciting? Because everyone is predicted to use streaming video products over the next few years, which means by getting started today, you can position yourself ahead of this massive trend and create REAL wealth in the process.

The market is shifting from text to video because, without a doubt, video says it much better. Streaming video messages have been proven to generate increased response rates and create greater retention. Consider these facts:

55% of a message meaning is derived from facial expression;
38% of a message meaning is derived from gestures, body language, etc.

It's also important to note when conveying an important message people only remember:

10% of what they read;
20% of what they hear;
30% of what they see;
50% of what they see and hear together;

In order for streaming video to be accepted and used by consumers, it must be easy to use. With more than 8 years, $60 Million and 1 Million man hours to develop, you can be assured HelloWorld and VMdirect's products are the easiest to use and the simplest to view. Just set up your webcam, press RECORD, talk and SEND.

We're looking for serious minded, dedicated people to make money with us by sharing our one-of-a-kind products that everyone is predicted to use very soon. It's rare you come across an opportunity that offers unique products that are not readily available at the corner store. Plus, this opportunity takes advantage of a whole new marketplace. The reasons I liked this opportunity is that it's poised in front of a massive trend with the most advanced streaming video products available today.

After watching the video presentation, contact me so we can start working together to increase our business. You can either be a customer or an affiliate. Join us...

Boy, the VM Direct people are SO aggressive on here!  Is it a pyramid scheme?

Hi Sarah.  Thanks for reading and posting a comment.  It may not be for everyone, but this is certainly the BEST way to communicate a lead or prospect, as well as current and past clients.

Now, I checked the Active Rain archives by way of "Search" on the keywords and only showing 2 posts from others in the last 2 months.  Aggressive may be a relative word there, but your entitled to your opinion.

Also pyramid scheme?  I can go on with this topic as I have worked in the Corporate world for many years.  Plus, you have the option to use this as a customer only.  No contracts.  Cancel any time.

Thanks again.

Thanks Janie.  One of my leads (that I had placed in my campaign) finally called me back last month after viewing the video email I sent her.

Florida Association of Realtors just wrote an article about this on its JULY/AUGUST edition.  Check out your copy of the magazine.

Or you can check it out online:

Hi - thought I would check out your post here, since you left a link from Mike Mueller's (missed posts) blog. I haven't really spent that much time working on video stuff...one side is I don't have a way to easily record and make movies. But on to video email.... I don't necessarily enjoy watching that many videos online. Even with a highspeed network connection it can still take too long for some of them to start playing. I'm fairly impatient online and hate to wait for stuff to download. Even if its something good a lot of times I still bypass it.

It reminds me of the old school adage.

Tell me, I'll listen,
Show me, I'll remember.
Involve me, I'll understand.

It was one of my favorites.

BTW found your blog through Mike. :)

Marc, great post! I am the youngest agent in my office and probably one of the youngest in town. Other Realtors here barely know how to use email. Meanwhile I am constantly connected with my blackberry and wireless internet connection. I am very interested in learning more about this technology. How has it affected your business and how are your customers and collegues reacting? BTW San Angelo is great. The market is stable and not experiencing a downturn at all. In fact average sales price has risen in the last six months! Knickerbocker is still here in fact our office is on the intersection of Knickerbocker and Johnson. Thanks for reading my blog and commenting. I need all the friends I can get.

Marc - I like ethe idea of video email but also shudder at the thought.

I get over 500 emails a day.  Much is spam, plenty of real business, and then there are the videos.  These are jokes passed along to everyone in someone's address book.  I have broadband but sometimes my day comes to screeching halt when someone sends me a huge video file.  I can only imagine what it might be like if I had dial up.

But I also see the value in it.  It's a tough call.

I have this service and I do love it!  I have not sent out any video emails yet but it is in the works and I did not receive mines free either, but I still love it and believe it is well worth it!

Lorinda - Thanks for stopping by.  Glad that you are using this service.  I pay for mine as well; customers can start as little as $9.95/month.  I was offering any Active Rain members a free account to at least try out (if they are a heavy user - maybe as long as they want for free).

I would love to hear your experience using video emails to contact your customers and prospects.  We'll keep in touch.

Marc,

Good running into you again at the KW office.  Do you know any mortgage brokers using VM Direct?  I want to find out how they apply the service to their business.

Thanks.
