I'm officially a fan of Costco! Love it!

I went with a friend today to costco and bought some items while I was there.

I had NO idea the variety of items you can buy at Costco.

Some great home and garden items, furniture, electronics, I even bought a pair of movie tickets for $7.50 each.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get a membership at Costco.

How have all of you Costco members like it so far?

Ralph, how have you gone so long w/o a Costco membership?  That place rocks!  Their return policy is great too!

Ralph, Only the best thing since sliced bread!  I have been a member for eons....and it is not just me who thinks so.  The was a study released a few weeks ago that ranked Costco as the No. 1 retailer.  Can't exist without them!

I agree with the first comment...amazed you haven't discovered this before.    Anytime is a good time, though!

It's not unusual for me to dissent. I've eaten unexciting food bought at Costco by agents and served at broker's opens. I have a brother in law that shops there and buys anything big - at a price he can't refuse. "Even if we throwaway half of it because it spoils, it was a good deal," he says. The kids are grown and gone. There is only the two of us, and the less we consume, the better. We by locally and we buy fresh and we shop every day. No gigantic freezer. No huge pantry. We buy less in the way of electronics and less in the way of entertainment gear. Less is better.

Love Costco. The nearest one is 225 miles away in the K.C. area though. We use Sam's locally but there is really not much of a comparison.

My Costco membership was paid for with the savings I made on printer ink during my first purchase.

Costco is the Bomb. If you see something you like BUY It because if you go home and think about it too long they will never have it again.

I havne't bought movie tickets at the box office in years.  They have a pretty good lunch deal with a generous sized pizza slice for $1.99 and bottomless soda for 55 cents.  :-)

More opinions than you want to hear about.

Costco also has a good corporate conscience, especially when compared to its main competitor.

Ralph,

I have never been but would love to.  There are not stores near where I live.

Hi Ralph - My nearest Costco is too far away to really benefit from any savings.  I have to admit, though, since it's in Vegas, the expense isn't the drive - it's the entertainment! ;D

Mike,

I've read about that myself too.

I like spending my dollars where the organization stays plugged in to it's society.
