Maricopa Founder's Day

The town of Maricopa,Az. puts on a number of events during the year. In April of this year they had the annual Salsa Festival. Live music, events for the kids, and the salsa contest. It started out great but mother nature decided to end it early by sending in a dust storm that I think may have changed the elevation of the town (LOL). The 4th Annual Founder's Day will be held on Oct. 13th,2007. Lot's of live music plus a chile cookoff and BBQ competition. For info call the Rec Dept @ 520-568-9098 ext 204
