Allen, Texas is located in Collin County in the great state of Texas.

Allen homes began back in the 1800's by the Comanche and Caddo Indians as Tee-Pees. Fast forward to the 1960's and the population exploded and helped a slow growth of Allen home building to occur.

It wasn't until the late 1970's that you could see all over the city, "Allen homes for sale!" This was a good sign of things to come but the residents, mostly farmers, had no idea what was to come.

Way before the Frisco Homes Rush and after the Plano Homes Rush in the mid-1970's, the closest city for new development was traveling East was Allen.
