I won't mention the company by name, but twice in the past two weeks a firm in my local area has send me buyers. Once the buyers were in town and the on duty agent actually would not show them property and literally gave them directions to our office. I suppose it could have been the price range these now Lane Realty clients are looking at, but yesterday they made an offer on one of our listings. Yeah for us!
The second buyer called my cell phone last night after the same company (who is the listing company on the property she was inquiring about) did not return her phone calls or emails within 24 hours. Within an hour of her phone call last evening which I answered at 8:36 p.m. I had emailed her the info on that property and several others. I also told her how she could go to MY website and search the entire MLS. This morning I have also gotten her the tax information on several others she found last night when searching the entire MLS. I have an appointment to show her property now. Yeah for me.
I actually had to call the listing agent at the company with the property listed ton find out about HOA fees and was that agent on an appointment? No, he wasn't. So I have no idea why he isn't returning phone calls or emails in a timely manner. But thanks for the business. This buyer is looking in a considerably higher price bracket than the first.
Also today I had a buyer call me who wanted to see property today. Well, I had a long list of "to do" and am this afternoon covering for the duty agent who actually has a closing scheduled this afternoon. But instead of putting the buyer off who wanted to see Lake Sinclair property today I phoned another agent in my office and she came in and met the buyers and we'd lined up all the appointments needed while he was driving the hour to our office and she's out showing him property. This buyer was smart enough to be pre-qualified for the VA loan he will be using to purchase with a local lender.
The reason for this blog post...
We at Lane Realty know how valuable YOU the customer's time is and we choose to NOT make you wait. If you want information on a property or want to see property in any price range we will be happy to give you the information and/or show you the property today. So give us a call or come on over.
However, I do recommend that before you begin your property search you do talk with a lender and that way you will have a better idea of what costs are involved besides the purchase price and know the price range you are qualified for so you can look at appropriately priced properties. And I'd be happy to provide you with a list of loan officers I recommend, who will also NOT make you wait for an answer.
