Active, residential listings: 688 Pending or contingent listings: 103 Residential listings closed last month: 82

Number of months to sell current actives at last month's sales pace: 8.4

Hamilton County, $100,000-200,000

Active, residential listings: 1,133 Pending or contingent listings: 145 Residential listings closed during the last month: 91

Number of months to sell current actives at last month's sales pace: 12.5

Hamilton County, $200,000-400,000

Active, residential listings: 758 Pending or contingent listings: 91 Residential listings closed during the last month: 67

Number of months to sell current actives at last month's sales pace: 11.3

Hamilton County, over $400,000

Active, residential listings: 375 Pending or contingent listings: 35 Residential listings closed during the last month: 11

Number of months to sell current actives at last month's sales pace: 34.1

Check out the last Chattanooga real estate market report I did back in June. The sky isn't exactly falling but we're pretty much back to where we were before the tax credit, i.e. that blip in May's Chattanooga real estate report really was pretty much caused by the tax credit expiration). That means that the one time I hoped I'd be wrong...I wasn't. Inventory is holding steady but the sales pace has slowed back down.
