Mount Dora will be celebrating celebrating Labor Day weekend with numerous activities in the Downtown area. The Summer Celebration starts on Friday, Sept. 3, and continues Saturday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a chili cook-off and pie-baking contest on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Be sure to take advantage of the water sports demonstration on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. on Scenic Lake Dora.
Live music will be provided at Grantham Point on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Then an amazing fireworks display will take place on Saturday at 8 p.m.
