The History Channel's show, 'Pickers' featuring Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz has been a hit. These guys have made a living from contacting owners to various collections of interesting things and what some of us would consider 'junk'.
My husband and I have been watching this show for weeks and it is really cool what these guys have found. Everything from children's bikes from the late 1800's to early American tea sets. The most interesting part of this show is seeing how much profit they net from their ventures.
Living in North, Georgia, there are many great Flea Markets in our area. We're headed off to the Dawsonville, Georgia 400 Flea Markets ready to bargain and hoping to find some great 'picks'. This is a low cost way to spend a rainy day with the family and with two large building, we should have plenty of vendors to visit.
