"Buffett could buy parts of Countrywide" CNNMoney.com 8/21/07
"Billionaire investor Warren Buffett could buy parts of beleaguered mortgage lender Countrywide Financial Corp. some investors are speculating, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Hmmmmmmm.
"Buffett has been increasing his stake in financial services companies, including those with significant exposure to the mortgage market." CNNMoney.com 8/21/07
Hmmmmmmmm.
What does he see?
Opportunity?
He's certainly not purchasing and/or looking to purchase companies that are going to fail. He does, however, recognize a good buy when he sees one. His track record cannot be challenged.
Aside from the fact that this is evidence of there being more strength in the market place than the media likes you to see, there may be another message here for all of us.
See the opportunities, seize the opportunities, take advantage of the opportunities which are currently available in the market place.
Follow Buffett's lead. I have a sneaky suspicion he knows what he's doing.
I could be wrong, but in this case, NOT!
