Service Beyond The Contract

By
Real Estate Agent with Weichert Realtors Foothill Properties

Servicing our clients goes beyond what is written in the contract. Yes, we've all made adjustments to our commission, paid for home warranties, handyman service, etc., but how far are we willing to go for our clients? I say the sky is NOT the limit, as long as we stay legal and ethical.

I've helped clients cut down bushes, delivered paperwork to maternity wards, helped clients load and unload moving trucks, searched through trash dumpsters for important papers the client threw away, run errands for my clients, helped them with their animals, you name it. If my clients trust me enough to sign on the dotted line for the biggest investment of their life, I can go out of my way for them, in any way possible.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do...they remember you for all you do, and it'll come back ten-fold.

I agree. And mind you, this was NOT a complaint. It's a statement that we all should do more for our clients, and consider it part of the job!

That is the only way we should do business.  Putting myself in my client's shoes, I would expect nothing less out of my agent.
