This year's Ashland County Fair begins August 30 and runs through September 3rd, at the Ashland County Fairgrounds in Marengo, Wisconsin. Marengo is about twelve miles south of Ashland on Highway 13.
Events will include a horseshoe pitching tournament, drag racing (including motorcycle, three and four-wheeler drag races), a lawnmower race, carnival, "Dirt Dash" races, "Mud Run", pool, volleyball and softball tournaments, plus live entertainment.
In the evenings, there'll be dancing in the Red Dog Saloon and music by Will Johnson. Fireworks will follow the Mud Run on Sunday, September 2nd.
Daily admission passes are just $10 per day ($5 for seniors 62 years plus) and the season pass is only $20. Grandstand admission and rides are free with a daily or season pass!
