Hi Leolinda, I did a Facebook like above, and on Juli's re-blog as well.

Maybe others can do the same. I also posted the link on the Facebook wall of someone I know who has a husband over there too. If everyone can do the same it will really get the word out. It can go viral in no time on Facebook!

Leolinda, That is so sad!! I'm amazed that the neighbor would not have found another home for the dogs.  I had to tell our son that our dog had passed away on instant messenger while he was in Iraq.  It was so hard I cried for a week.  He did not want to come home without a dog to greet him and so we found a new friend before he plane home ever hit the ground.  He is now out of the Army but these stories just hit home.

I hope these two babies are reunited quickly with their owner! I am sure both parties are missing each other greatly!

I am new to this group and this just breaks my heart, both for the dogs and the soldier. What a heartless way to handle the situation. I hope that the shelter has the resources to do a thorough search so that a reunion can take place. I believe that there is a group that fosters dogs for deployed soldiers, too.
