With over 117 acres this parks has wide open spaces, tree-lined paved walking trails, a 1000 seat amphitheater, a performance garden and more scheduled to come in the years to come. Six Sundays in Spring, the extremely popular outdoor concert series, is now held at E. Carroll Joyner Park which provides the most amazing backdrop. Pre-concert events can be enjoyed in the performance garden which is filled with fragrant herbs and plants.
