Homes for Sale In and Around Marana and Tucson, AZ

Over the past months, I've been highlighting several communities in and around Tucson, AZ.  The inventory is vast, and there are plenty of well-priced homes from which to choose.

Gladden Farms is a master planned community about 20 miles northwest of downtown Tucson.  Major stores, shopping, hospitals, and restaurants are 6 miles down the freeway.  You can find Gladden Farms about 4 minutes west of the Intersection of I-10 and Tangerine Farms Road, exit 240. If you are interested in viewing a pictorial view of beautiful Gladden Farms, I suggest browsing the three articles I have on that subject:

If you are more of a numbers' kind of person, the current market report will tell you the exact details of Gladden Farms.

Nestled nearby Gladden Farms are the Communities of Rancho Marana, and the subdivision of Nicholas Homes which offer several short sale opportunities, but construction has halted for some time on new building.  The listings available are mostly large, instead of just 2 bedroom homes for sale, the community has homes over 3000 sq. feet with 3 and 4 bedroom houses for sale, and even 5 bedroom houses.

Traveling a little bit MORE north along I-10 from Tucson, AZ, at exit 236, San Lucas community enjoys vast mountain views and a little bit more rural feel to their surroundings.  The community has new construction homes, as well as resale 2 bedroom, and 3 and 4 bedroom homes that are listed on the market.

Hopping back on the freeway and traveling towards Tucson, AZ, taking the exit at Cotaro Road puts you smack in the middle of the Arizona Crossroads Pavillion with its shops, resturants, theatre and more.  A community park, urgent care center, library and office facilities are all nearby.  Situated along the San Lucas River and Tucson Mountain range, Continental Ranch and Continental Reserve offer affordable contemporary and Santa Fe style  homes for sale.  A little further north along Silverbell road is the active adult community of Sunflower.

If you are contemplating buying a new home in Marana or Tucson, AZ, today's interest rates, combined with a large inventory of new and resale homes available, can make this an opportune time for making a move.  Tucson's sunny weather, dry climate, and scenic vistas can spell retirement for some, relocation for others.

Investors may find the area interesting themselves!  As a college town, rental housing is always in demand, winter visitors enjoy seasonal renting, and fixer-uppers all over Tucson and Marana offer opportunities for the project lover!  Want help as an investor in understanding the Arizona Bank and Lender Owned process a little bit more?  If you'd like information on buying a REO property in Tucson, Arizona, click here.

Call a Marana neighbor, I'm THERE!

These were all taken in June-August of this year.  (I just started blogging!)  We've gotten more rain than in the past, so we are WAY greener for this time of year.  Tucson is surrounded by four mountain regions, so everywhere you look there is beauty in the vistas, colors, shadows, and desert flora.  I love it here.  We aren't green like WISC, but we're diverse!!

Mary - come on down and give me a call!  We'll meet for lunch or a soda or something!  We don't have the wilderness feel of Flagstaff's surrounding area, but we have our own special style!  I love how incredibly different all the parts of Arizona are.  Texas Canyon and the Chiracahuas are amazing too in extreme SE AZ
