Liberty Science Center - 2010 Planet Real Estate

Liberty Science Center was the venue for this year's Coldwell Banker's Business Conference for the Northern New Jersey and Rockland County Regions, dubbed Planet Real Estate.  What a super venue and what a super day!!

Besides the usual vender display's and giveaways of all the latest and greatest items to enhance your business, and the terrific sessions and top agent panels, there was the Liberty Science Center itself, and all it has to offer, plus their super IMAX theatre showing of  "Everest" - a lesson in scaling the heights (comparable to the challenges of the current real estate market??).

David Marine, Coldwell Banker's Products and Innovation Director, hosted a panel of top agents who shared with us how they were using social media tools to increase their business, with tips and insights on how we can adapt the tools to our business.

Other breakaway session highlights included short sales, how to Stay Up in a Down Market, How to Incorporate Videos into your Business and How to Maximize your Web Potential.

Giving back to our communities is always a large focus of our Regional President Hal Maxwell's philosophy and our Tricky Tray Raffle raises thousands for CBRB Cares.  Every office contributes a themed basket to the raffle and the displays are amazingly creative and fun.  The baskets include Baseball and football game tickets, coffeemakers with all the fixings, ipads, iphones, theatre tickets, a day at Mohonk Mountain House (via the Suffern office), a money tree, spa treatments, an Italian basket, an Irish basket, a cure-all for the Bad Market (wine & liquor collection), a game night, etc.

It was a day of learning, networking, sharing and fun and a great time was had by all.  Planet Real Estate 2011, anyone???
