How to Automatically Sort Your MLS Updates on Thunderbird

I use automatic MLS updates for a number of customers and clients.  This helps me to determine which buyers are actively looking, and who I should be following up on.  If you use the automatic updates, you may be opening up your e-mail, and having to sort through a number of these to find e-mails requiring your immediate attention.  There is an east solution. 

On Thunderbird, create a new folder, you can call it MLS AUTO RESPONSE, or title you wish.  Click on any message from your MLS, in southeastern Wisconsin the sender is AutoNotify@flexmls.com. 

Go to the pull down on the top of the screen title MESSAGE.  Click on CREATE FILTER FROM MESSAGE. 

This will open a new window.  All you need to do is go to the bottom of the window.  The title will read: Perform these actions.  The first pull down should read:  Move Message to:

Use the second pull down window to locate the new folder you just created and click OK. 

Now all the Auto E-mails from the MLS will go to the new folder and you can check up on the Buyers, who are actively looking at your convenience, not every time you open your E-mail account.
