Existing home sales Increase

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty of the Treasure Coast

August was a good month for existing homes, the sales of previously owned homes rose 7.6% according to the National Association of Realtors.   This is also affecting current inventories, which are down in many areas.

In Martin County we are noticing a decreased inventory of homes to show our potential buyers.  It makes it easier to find the perfect home for our buyers.  The median prices in Stuart have also decreased with the inventories, leaving some great opportunities on the market.

With interest rates and prices where they are at this point in time, it is such a great time to invest in properties.  The  Keegan Team is here to help you find the perfect property.

It would be great if this was pumped out all over the media with a little more fanfare.  This is actually a big deal considering August is normally a slow month.  This is a great indicator that the economy really has turned the corner and we're heading toward better markets next year.

Glad to hear you're seeing inventory dropping in your part of the world...

Thank you Brian for responding.  We do need a media blast in the positive, it would get those who are on the fence off to buy!!  How are things in your market.
