Gwinnett County has just narrowed down the teacher of the year candidates to 25. The process is a rigorous one in which nominated teachers write essays, get interviewed and have their teaching evaluated. The finalists and eventual winner will be announced November 4 at the teacher of the year banquet that honors every teacher for each school who won. Here is a list from the GCPS website of this years winners.
