Brought to you by April Hayden-Munson, I am a Realtor in Southeastern Wisconsin, welcome to my Blog.  Farm Aid October 1, 2010 in Milwaukee at Miller Park.  Line-up includes Willie Nelson, the BoDeans, Jamey Johnson, Kenny Chesney, Dave Matthews and many more. Fans will be in store for great entertainment and special food from Organic Farms.

 

 

 

 

Willie Nelson's Farm Aid comes to Milwaukee - Miller Park Saturday October 1, 2010.  Doors for the event will open at 12:00 pm. The music will begin at 1pm.

If you are traveling here, you may need to take extra time. I-894 has been shut down at the Airport - north and southbound for road construction.  For further information click on this WDOT link   

Traffic will be routed around the area. For more information go to this link Milwaukee County area:  Due to the construction, I-43/894 EastBound is closed at Loomis Road and I-43/984 West Bound is closeed at South 27th Street. The detour route for EastBound traffic is to exit at Loomis Road and follow the detour route signs via Layton Avenue or Howard Avenue.  Call 511 while in route to see which area is less congested.

In addition, the freeway ramp from I-94 NorthBound to I-43//894 WestBound is closed.  Expect severe delays, alternate routes are suggested.

 

 

 

 

 

Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for AmericaJamey Johnson will join Farm Aid president and founder Willie Nelson and board members John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds, as well as Kenny Chesney, Norah Jones, Jason Mraz, Jeff Tweedy, Band of Horses, Amos Lee, Robert Francis, BoDeans, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Randy Rogers Band and The Blackwood Quartet.

will feature food with local or organic, family farm-sourced ingredients at concessions. HOMEGROWN Concessions include burgers, veggie burgers, pizza, hot dogs, veggie dogs, jalapeño corndogs, bratwursts and sausages, cheese curds and French fries, and a farmers market where concertgoers can buy fresh, local fruit and baked goods.
