Attorney Generals Running for Office-REal Estate makes the biggest headline

Have you noticed the latest fiasco with the investigaitons of Mortgage Fraud, Foreclosure Fraud and now Law Firms handling the biggest foreclosure cases are all under investigation. This is happening in states where the biggest races area being held in November. States where each party is struggling to get ahead and Realtors are the biggest headline. Everyone including me would like to know what will we see tommorow. If I have a closing with GMAC Friday will it happen because it is the right thing to do and all parties have done their due dilligence, or will we get stopped at the table because of the foreclosure staus of GMAC in some states. I guess we won't know until it happens.

Taking health care to the next leve and taxing real estate transactions is not headline news, it doesn't take affect until 2013 but the foreclosure crisis is real because election Day is four weeks away.

Someone help me find the real truth

Gloria - I don't know about the political part of your post, but whether the property will close in the light of Repogate is a big concern.  Is there any way you can push the closing up by a few days?  Or maybe tomorrow? The issue might be whether the title insurance company will be willing to issue title insurance on the company.  If there is no title insurance, there is no closing.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, sorry I have not gotten back tot his site to check my emails. My client died and while that happened they auction his house for half of what I could have sold it for, no bidders so it was credited back to the BOA gang, and we were still negotiating two weeks after it was auctioned. There is no justice in this market.
