You can tell it is a small community when the main street through town is call Big Walnut Road. I've been down (and up) 23 a number of times and missed Lewis Center and Lewis Center Road completely.

Lewis Center is just a spot on the map but the ZIP code or maybe it is the township had over 12,000 residents in 2000. Delaware was one of the fastest growing counties earlier in the decade, so it will be interesting to see what the 2010 Census says about population in the Lewis Center area. I am not sure what the difference in the Lewis Center Ohio 43035 ZIP code and Orange Township are in area but Orange Township is 21 or 22 square miles, spread out.

There are 236 residential properties on the market now w/ a Lewis Center 43035 address so it is a populated area, just not urban. You would not really notice Lewis Center Rd. off 23 and the development is closer to Alum Creek.

Psst looking for a furnace post for Friday... I would love to Re-Blog one about gas furnaces, vs. electric, heatpump etc.

Next time I'm on 23 you can bet I'll look for Lewis Center Rd. I'll work on a blog, but the hardest blog to write is the one someone asks for.
