Great Buys in Maricopa Arizona

There are great buys to be had in the small town of Maricopa, AZ. Maricopa sits about 16 miles SW of the western part of Chandler, about 30 miles from downtown Phoenix and has approximately 40,000 residents.  It's a sleepy bedroom community and has that small town feel which many of my second home buyers enjoy! It also has no lack of grocery stores, convenience chains, and a golf course that has a new clubhouse, the Duke at Rancho El Dorado.  There's also an active adult community called "Province" that was voted in 2005 as the best new active adult community with it's 50 acres of water and 125 acres of lush turf. Meritage Homes is currently building that out for new buyers.

Recently this week I was in Maricopa for several days showing property to one of my referred buyers that was looking for a second home.  There are plenty of bank owned homes on the market ranging from 65k-100k that are in excellent condition, newer than 7 years old and with an average size ranging from 1500-2000 square feet. There are also several communities to choose from and many offer community pools, tennis courts and other amenities. My buyer LOVED Maricopa! He also came from a small town in Pennsylvania so Maricopa was the perfect fit.  He had several choices on his top 3 list and he will soon be enjoying his "home away from home"!

Hmmm. Looks like a nice ara for a snowbird from Michigan...and seems really affordable!

Hi Mike, yes these are really nice homes for rock bottom prices! A bit out of town, but my snowbirds like that, they aren't in a rush to get anywhere like the rest of us are when we are working and living here. I have clients from Minnesota, North California and Pennsylvania that live there, and there are a TON of Canadians purchasing because of the low prices and of course they want to get away from the cold weather!  I appreciate your response!
