Here again don't go reading anything into the heading (topic) until you hear the rest of the story as Paul would say.  But I have news for you; you do this every day if you're in the business.  Why you may ask well I'll be glad to tell you.  You do this because that's what you were taught to do.  The meaning of (a pal e jet' ik), defending in writing or speech; vindicating.  Now there are those who might not agree with me but if it's not in writing it did not happen.  If it's not in writing it does not exist.  Join wordsmith on Activerain.

I had a trainer early in my Real Estate career that taught us that a verbal contract is only worth the paper it is printed on. Although a verbal contract can be a contract, it is usually not legally enforceable.

Very important to get it in writing. And don't forget to make sure all your I's are dotted and T's crossed...

I know I'm doing my job when agents complain that I'm being too hard nosed about getting agreements and disclosures signed.

Yeap we need it to be in writing.  I hate it when an agent ask me if I'll take a verbal offer.   Thanks James
