Oh Ethan, Ethan... first of all that little girl is adorable, is that a stock photo or your daughter?
Now I live in NY which has the hands free law and I understand why. When i lived in Cali many years ago I used to get upset with the ladies who would apply make-up while driving or the guy reading his morning paper. Now it's the PDA's, cell phones, mobile internet and other distractions. I can't imagine how the freeways there are now.
Please do me a favor. If you're driving and the call isn't time sensitive, wait till you reach your destination. It is proven that multi-tasking while driving decreases your reaction time and you have a beautiful daughter that you need to stay safe for. Isn't she worth it?
Tom-Thanks
Rosario-There is a difference between driving in different cities so I understand
Sharon-If I lived in NYC, I would not talk on the phone while driving. My daughter is worth living for, so that is why I got a hands free headset.
I posted on this awhile back. I put a sticky piece of velcro on the back of my blackberry and the other half on the dashboard of my car. Now when I get in the car I slap my phone on the dash and put it on speaker when I answer. It's like talking to anyone sitting shotgun. Of course, I probably look like a lunatic to others who see me driving down the road speaking to the air!
I see no difference in this and talking to someone else in the car.
