SUBJECT LINES or DIGUISES?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with CENTURY 21 All Star REALTORS

Please don't send emails that are wearing costumes. Halloween is over. I am exhausted from looking at recruiting solicitations disguised as learning and training sessions.  Or better yet a networking happy hour to sell me a product.  Frankly if you can't tell the truth in the subject line you probably won't do any better in the content.

I think everyone is worn out by the outdated parade of emails masked as something else only to disappoint.  what ever happened to give more than you are receiving?  I pledge to never send you a trick or treater in a costume to your e mail.  I hope others will join me in an online protest to those who use subject lines to deceive!

I think they call it creative marketing or thinking outside the box but I'm with you Colleen. If it's not worth marketing straight up forget about it.

How about "I need an agent" only to find that what they are looking for is a sucker?  How can you protest, though?  If you write back, they will never give up on sending your more!
