What I would do with $220 in savings? Spend it Wisely.
By now, everyone should know about the ActiveRain and Kodak Contest: What Would You Do With the Money You Save on Ink, What would I do with $220 in savings.....Well, I would buy my husband a new printer.
His printer's ink cartridges are not cheap. At least once a month, he walks into my office complaining that he has to go out and buy an ink cartridge. He was doing this so often that he started buying three cartridges at a time. The ink always ran out when he was in the middle of printing important documents that he needed ASAP.
The expletives he uses are not for this post :) It is not only irritating for him, but for me as well....as I have to listen to his complaining about his printer's ink cartridges. So, I would use the money to purchase him a
....... Oh wait, I just realize if I win, I not only get $220, but a printer too...... a Kodak ESP 6150 Office, plus an extra $100 for ink cartridges.
What a DEAL!!!
Okay, so what will I use the $220 for...I could use the money
- to help pay for my Board and MLS dues, a total of $510, due by December 1st;
- to buy Christmas gifts (I have 9 siblings and many, many, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews;
- to help charities...there are so many this time of the year asking for donations;
- to give to my church to help families in need of food and presents for Christmas;
- to help pay for utilities this winter, especially if the winter is like last years...cold, very cold!
- buy something nice for my husband as he would not be using expletives with the new printer.
I could go on and on of what I would do with the extra $220, but you get my drift ..... I would spend it wisely.
Footnote: “This post is for the ActiveRain 'I could save $220 with Kodak Contest. I have a chance to win a free Kodak Printer, $$220 in cash to use for the idea in my blog post, and an extra $100 to use toward ink!.”
