Our thoughts are always with the troops now serving to keep us safe from the bad guys. They put their lives on the line every moment of every day. They can't even call in sick because they have to keep on protecting us.
As you see one of our service men or women give them thanks. You don't have to talk to them, just put your hand over your heart then bring your hand forward towards them. It will make your heart and their heart feel very special. This Thanksgiving will be very lonely for the families left behind. The troops will have a hole in their heart because they are not home.
Veterns have earned us the right to our freedoms. Freedom of speech, free to gather, freedom of religion, freedom of the press and many more.
As we eat our Thanksgiving turkey say a prayer for their safety and to get them back home soon.
