So! How is your year shaping up?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Associates Plus

We all start the year with a bang, Have our business plan in place, exciting new ways to prospect, the whole nine yards!

SO!  How is your shaping up?  Are your meeting, or exceeding your goals?  Are you sticking to your prospecting plan like you planned?   I am curious to see how you are doing!

Our year so far, we are going to meet our goals with what we have closed, and  what we have on the books.  So now we are working to exceed our goals!

We did a great job of sticking to our business plan, and prospecting, up until the last month.  You know how it is, you get busy with business, and do not make time to prospect.  BIG mistake! SO!  I am back at my plan!  I will keep you posted on how it is going!  Despite this being one of the worst years real estate wise here in Minnesota, we are having one of our better years!!

As a service provider for real estate professionals our year has been tighter than usual.  When real estate folks have cash flow problems, so do we.

I am not sure what would be the right answer... As the entire year, so far, was hounted by a very difficult real estate market.

I'm happy to say I have surpassed my goals for this year also and had to readjust them. Things have slowed down in the last month, but are looking up for the next 60 days.

Side note: My fishing partner (Dad) is back on his feet and ready to go fishing again, since the knee surgery. So I plan to be posting more fishing for professional posts soon!

We haven't heard from you since 9/7.  Hopefully you are just out prospecting and will be back to AR pretty soon.

I am  fairly new LO and when I started this journey I didn't set a business plan.  You better believe I am working on one for the upcoming one.  Do most people set goals weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.   With the amount of time it takes to close a deal, it's hard to guage.

enjoyed reading your past blogs..  I noticed you havent written in quite some time. I imagine you probably are just busy.

However, do you also you use an outside blog primarliy? or maybe AR just wasnt worthwhile venture for getting business.

thanks for sharing any insight and keep up the good work.

Good Morning Cory and Tracy,  Your post was posted just as the market took a huge nose dive.  I hope you struck to your plan and are doing well.  It has been a tough four years but those of us who have survived are better agents.  Have a great fall season.
