I think the worst thing is not being able to get my fifty words in to get my ActiveRain points? Now that is going to be a real problem. Looks like AR will have to do another upgrade to be able to include QR Codes too.

Speaking of QR codes, what's with that tiny QR code on your signature line?
I just had new business cards made up and I added a QR code on to the back of my business card. I've only had the new cards for a week now, but it's been a great conversation piece on quite a few occasions already.
Hi Reuben, I have one on my magnetic car signs and on my business card. Regarding my signature line----I had to put it somewhere :)
I was just reading about QR codes this morning. We should have one on our sign and folks just tune in with their cell phone and get the info. One thing about being in real estate is that you never get to rest on what you've learned. You have to start again and again and again.
Barbara, I agree. It is such a no-brainer as to how important a tool these are and will be----which only supports how much visual polution they are going to create unless we are very careful how we use them.
Charles, very clever indeed....I haven't put the QR code on any of my posts or listings. I did call my MLS office about the codes, they never heard of them ... go figure!
Steve, you need new glasses :)
Rebecca, when I went to fedex/kinkos several weeks ago to get my cards done---they had never heard of them either----totally surprised me.
So here we go with the next stage of hard-to-understand "communication!"
Great point Charlie.
Can you put one up there for my favorite sub shop? I don't see it.
Thanks.
They certainly aren't the most attractive little things, but I sure do like 'em. I have one on my business cards, and they do work in different colors. My website QR Code is Blue, My blog QR Code is green, My contact info QR Code is Red...You get the picture! Love what your QR codes read in your post...I obviously need to get a life, I actually took the time to scan them ;0)
Amy, I don't think there will be any getting away from them. I am wondering if they can still be read when they are hopelessly small?:) Like the one in my signature line?
My phone app is unable to decode your cute & tiny signature QR Code...But, I have been able to pick up a few about twice that size (about 1/2" ).
Amy thanks so much---this one is set at 50 x 50----I would hate to have to make it any bigger than that :)
Any time Dude! Guess you are telling me that my QR Codes are like...way too big?
Amy, I would never go there :) To each their own :) Like my post warns about-----I think these things have the potential to "take over" our visual world.
Love the color version!! What a creative post. I think they're nothing more than the scanner bar codes, just someone thought of something else. My attitude is "just chip me and get it over with already! HA HA HA
Amy, I usually deserve most of my "hard times." :)
Carla, I am sure they will get colorful too.
