Do you have the right attitude to sell your house?

The market conditions are great for buying right now!  Lower prices than a few years ago, historically low interest rates, and lots of property on the market to choose from. Well that's all great news for finding your next house home.

But those same things that make it a great time to buy have to be carefully weighed if you also have a property to sell. It can still be an excellent time to make a purchase and position yourself if you are making more than short-term plans. In addition to analyzing the market, and properly pricing and preparing your house, you've got to bring the RIGHT ATTITUDE with you on this real estate journey.

My friend Tish Lloyd makes some great points about winning at your real estate transaction by bringing a winning attitude to the table with you. Are you really ready? If so, give me call and we can make things happen to get you into that NEXT house of your dreams!

Do you have the right attitude to sell your house?Sunshine

It's great that you're pricing it right, taking care of repairs, staging the house, planting a few flowers or just cleaning out the garage.  Those are all important.

But so is your ATTITUDE.  Sellers not only need to do the physical labor to get their homes ready, they need to do the mental as well.

Are you ready to keep the home in showing condition?  This means looking at it EVERY day with the eyes of a buyer.  You'll have things that you don't feel like doing or dealing with, but if you have a selling attitude, you'll do them!

Are you ready to let complete strangers stroll through your home and make snarky comments?  There's always at least one of those.  And you can't get snarky back.  That's my job!  I'm kidding, I don't get snarky, even when I want to.  You'll need to be a little thick-skinned about it.

Can you be pleasant about those last minute showings?  You're home needs to be shown in order to sell, so you'll need to be as flexible about showings as possible.  And you'll need to do it with a smile!

How about dealing with a low-ball offer?  You can't afford to get offended.  You've got to be ready and able to step back and look at this as a business transaction.  No taking it personal, now!

A GREAT Real Estate Agent can help you with just about anything and everything you need to sell your home, except bringing your Selling Attitude.  You control that.  Your house will need to wear it's game face every day, and you will need to have the right Sellers Attitude -- EVERY DAY!

When you're thinking about selling your home, find a GREAT Real Estate Agent              and . . . check your attitude.

Lisa, I missed this one, nice re-blog....so true for the seller to be in a positive mood for selling and actively maintaining and cleaning the show piece.

David - thanks! It really DOES take a lot to keep a house in showing condition, so Sellers must be ready to bring their best energy to marketing plan -- it's a team effort!

Joni - I am thankful for you and your support today!  Thanks so much!
