Rainbows over San Francisco as viewed by San Francisco Realtor, Frank Castaldini from his Deck at Home.
We've been a little wet the last few days here in San Francisco. After many glorious beautiful, indian summer days, looks like the fall and winter are knocking hard on the door. This weekend appears to be a raining one in store. Not the greatest when it comes to doing open houses although our buyers still go looking even in the rain.
I wake up and look outside my window and what do I see? A gigantic rainbow.
From Wikipedia: Rainbow
A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines on to droplets of moisture in the earth's atmosphere. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc, with red on the outer part of the arc and violet on the inner section.
That was the left side of this rainbow and then there's the right side.
The sky was rather dark which made this rainbow even more impressive. The photos do not do just to the majesty of the arc that was breathtaking. Glad I got to see it and glad to share it. If it's going to be a raining one this weekend, I'll just flip to my PFA photo section see one of nature's beauties provided by the inclement weather.
Here's another rainbow from about two weeks ago taken from 228 Holladay one of my Bernal Heights listings. This is a vew from the front of the house our toward the east bay. This was taken later in the afternoon. You're viewing toward the east, with the sun behind me towards the west creating this rainbow.
Have a great weekend. If you're in San Francisco you might see some rainbows, some open houses and you might see me if you come visit 96 Prentiss in Bernal Heights, my latest listing.
