Who do you know who struggles with chronic illness? Maybe it's you, (or as it is with me, your spouse.)
In any case, it's one more difficulty layered over an already difficult profession.
Kimberly A Norgard has started a group specifically for Active Rain professionals who work in spite of chronic illness. It's called Realtors With Chronic Illness.
Please spread the word about this group. The lady on your right is my Darlin', and she was diagnosed 30 years ago with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE.) In spite of her chronic illness, she was named NJ Employee of the Year in 1997, the year we were married. She almost always has a powerfully positive attitude. During her working life, she overcame and perservered.
Kimberly Norgard has the same disease. Statistically speaking, there have to be thousands of Active Rain members who work in spite of having a chronic illness.
Please reblog this. Active Rain is a hugely supportive community, and I have to believe that this group will grow quickly, and provide a resource for REALTORS and other real estate professionals who suffer with chronic illnesses.
