I am going to be a father!!!!!!

I found out yesterday that I am going to be a father. This will be my first child and I am so happy I cannot explain the full range of emotions that are going through my body as well as Priscila. I met my wife in Brazil a two years ago and I knew from the first day that she was the one for me. We waiting almost a year for her to obtain her visa to come to the states and the more time I spent with her I knew that we were destined to be together.

We went to the hospital and found out that she is about 5-6 weeks pregnant and the baby is in great health.

He looks like this right now.

It is amazing how lucky I am that God gave me this gift, and that I am to share my love with two people now. My wife and my baby. I am real new to this as this is my first child, but I have an enthusiasm to learn. If any of you have advise, please let me know. I know a lot about financing but not to much about pregnancy. It is truly a blessing and such an amazing how much joy my baby is bringing to our lives. Much love to everyone.

Hayden and Priscila, Congratulations!!

Babies are amazing and beautiful! I thank the Lord for my 3 and 1 grandson.

The wife will be sensitive and teary often. Do your best not to tick her off too much and when you can be helpful with household duties like scrubbing the tub when her tummy gets too big.

Keep us posted! Welcome to parenthood! Ain't nothin' like it!

Thank you so much Todd and Jennifer. I can't wait to see my baby in about 8 short months. I will definatly do what I can to make Priscila's life easier. She is doing the hard work, cleaning the house would be the least I could do.

Congratulations.  It is a blessing to have children whether you are a mother or father.  It is a challenge, but also an opportunity to guide a new life.  There are tears and heartaches, but nothing else can equal it.

Congratulations to both of you. Parenthood is wonderful. Enjoy every minute, starting now. They grow up fast. Our oldest turns 14 next week, yet it seems like just yesterday that I was in your shoes.

Congratulations!

You sound like a thoughtful husband and I am sure you will be an awesome Daddy.

It is an old cliche but it is true, as the mother of 2 teenagers I can tell you that they do grow fast, cherish every moment that you have. Each stage passes so quickly, the next thing you know they want to borrow the car!

Rolando, I learned a few years ago to live in the present. I will cherish every moment so that I get to experience everything. Thank you.

Sue, It seems like the kids borrowing the car will be way down the road, but I agree, time flys.
