The Signs of Christmas are all Around Us

Decorations are going up around the houses, red and green bows are all over the place. Christmas Carols own the air,

♫It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, every where you go♫

I went into the local Mall to grab a fresh set of batteries for my camera for RainCamp. There was an explosion of Christmas. The people walking thru the mall had on special smiles, or else I just looked funny. The clerks in the jewelry stores all had special smiles for the men that went by, maybe a reminder to get something special for that special someone.

Don't wait until the last minute, there are 25 shopping days left until Christmas!!

Oh, Ed, I wish I could get excited about it! We have had two deaths in our family since the first of November, one of them just a week ago and it was sudden, unexplained death of a young person. Really struggling....2011 has to be a better year. Blessings to you all.

Juli, I understand, I have spent a Christmas in Hawaii and it was funny to see a Santa Claus with all that garb standing next to those palm trees. Have also been to Brazil for Christmas, and the girls on the beach looked anything but cold.

Jim, I tend to walk around with blinders especially when the Christmas Elves are trying to share space with the Halloween ghosts. I don't like to have Thanksgiving dinner with the lights of the Christmas tree blinking in the background.
